It is not only the commonality of curved forms and the negation of corners and edges that allows us to draw a clear line from Art Nouveau to Luigi Colani in the 1970s, but also the conviction that the answer of design to technical and industrial progress can only lie in nature. And it is precisely this overarching goal that makes Art Nouveau, Colani‘s design and his visions for the future of mankind more relevant than ever.
